Jane, my ankle is still giving me gyp (as is my brain  ) so I don't think I'm doing the walk, but I want to get the railway to the top of Snowdon and hopefully walk down, do you know the timings at all for when you're starting and how long it's supposed to take to get up?  Are you staying Friday night too or just Saturday?  Questions questions

Paula I think your a wimp you should do the walk, I dont know if i will manage it but want to give it a try

http://www.snowdonrailway.co.uk/ here is the the railway website for the timetable , we are starting at 7.30ish and getting back at 1 or 2 pm so your guess is as good as mine when we will be at the top.

I am staying in Llanberis the night before and hubby is driving the van over to Clywd view in the afternoon then we are returning to Rhuddlan in friends car but I know other Levs fans(jojos parents?) will be at pleasant view campsite the night before so maybe you will meet up in the only pub there

I'd have to respectfully agree with you there    But I'm kinda respecting my own body - I'm not ready for this and I'll do other things to help LHS in future    Plus I should be able to walk down!

Believe me I will need lots of luck, and I dont think it is possible to lower the tone any more, it is Rhyll we are talking about     its a bit like Crewe at the see side

I,ve been on google maps and it says that Mount Snowdon is a hours drive from Rhuddlan castle. Just thought i'd let people know incase anyone thought it might be near by.
