The Levellers have done well on this tour with just the one venue Oxford, Oxford was the one that bar prices was way over priced , security was over the top as normal , The non O2 venues on this tour have been a joy to go too, with Holmfirth and Leamington being my favourites and would be nice to limit O2 on the winter tour if possible  What are others views? |

As a door person I thought the exit staff ( the older ones ) were complete and utter wa**ers , the 2 young ones were sweeties though --- the alcohol prices took the raging pish and it was very narrow ,,i didn't like the venue at all  |

I didn't show my phone and they still let us in the priority queue First time that's happened to me there or at Birmingham - totally stupid if you ask me  Can see absolutely no point in whatsoever other than to totally annoy people Didn't partake of the booze and had water rather than another soft drink just so I didn't have to give the venue another penny! I did the same for our 12 o'clock kick off at a certain football club. I was hungry +++ for most of the game but refused to buy any food from them. Petty but satisfying at the time! |

Hi, I've lived in Oxford all my life and Zodiac was a brilliant venue before Carling took it over, then O2. Sad.
The Zodiac was ace, wonky floors,
graffiti on the toilet walls,
the sound was shitter, granted,
but they had better bitter. Now it's cans of Tetleys only. (Yeah I did add some of that just cuz it rhymed).
O2 have made it better since the Carling, but still the priority thing is bullshit, especially at a Levellers gig. I have an O2 phone and have never known about this before and never used it. Was still able to get in and down the front even though I turned up ten minutes before Levs came on. Thrid gig there just this week and I havent seen the o2 priority thing. Don't understand it. Maybe I've been too pissed to notice before.
Still an inevitable brilliant performance from the boys though eh?
