Hi all, You may have heard me mention Love Hope Strength, a charity trying to bring the best medical care possible to cancer patients around the world. Mike Peters of the Alarm co-founded the group, and Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze and the lovely Nick Harper have been on many of their adventures in the past few years, including playing the world's highest gigs at Everest Base Camp and atop Mount Kilimanjaro... Anyway, there was a post on the LHS UK foundation page on Facebook today which said, "Details on our new fundraising event in August featuring the Levellers will be published shortly." There have been two Snowdon Rocks walks up Snowdon and related concerts in the past few years, but those are usually in June so I'm not sure if this'll be related to that. As soon as I see or find out anything more, I'll make sure to give everyone a shout...  |
