dim goes back to find the truth and lies reviews to see just who loved it.. Still, it wasn't quite as bad as Pig and GBR. I'd say it's only their 3rd worst album and a big step up from GBR, which is terrible IMO - 2 decent songs and the rest put me to a troubled sleep. |

I just gave it loads of listens and it grew on me. Elvis is still a shit song though. Possibly their worst. |

Levellers fan type #23: "I love Hello Pig" nuff said Hated it when I first heard it though. I could not believe it. It wasn't until I see them live on the Pig tour that I managed to appreciate it. I just gave it loads of listens and it grew on me. Elvis is still a shit song though. Possibly their worst. 61 Minutes of Pleading depresses the hell out of me, and Elvis, yup, Elvis IS the worst song they've ever released on a studio album, IMO. I still haven't gotten into Pig and I've tried. GBR also doesn't work well for me, even though there are some great songs on it. |

I don't get all the Green Blade hate. It's a decent enough record. I wouldn't warn people not to listen to it like I would Truth and Lies or Hello Pig.
Plus Come On was the best Levellers single of the new millennium until Cholera Well came along.
