excuse my german is Schwaebisch the dialect?
still very close to an non drinker - voted against Burn A Burn sober (Des isch besser als a Dasch voll Gsälz oder a Gosch voll Glufa oder als en d´Hos gschissa.)  Wink yes, schwäbisch is an dialect - schwäbisch_in_the_www - excellent page, just tried the schwäbisch test 1 - result: 18/30  Grin

Besser als in die Hose geschissen is one of my favorite German expression, but in Schwaebisch it sounds really funny!!! Better than filling your trousers.
My favorite German is: Du kannst mir mal am Hobel blasen.
My wife says it all the time, although she doesn't even have a Hobel.

bevor ich 'glufa' in dem Zusammenhang oben auf der Webseite  sah, kannte ich das nur von
'Glufamichl' =  Pfennigfuchser
