2nd round draw: Heart of the Country + Duty (?!) are out.

Round 3 - 8 songs left

The third of my equal candidates,  Heart of the Country, is already gone - so I rotate
Burn America Burn and Accidental Anarchist
as long as both are out.
This time Accidental Anarchist.

Except Burn. Weakest song, imo.

I'd say we're listening to it with different ears  Wink Grin. Before the End is not a Levellers song, nor very interesting or catchy. My wife likes it a lot, and I figure they put it on for their female fans. No offense intended Grin, but Levellers and sappy love songs? Sorry. Not my cup of tea at all. Cholera Well and Fight or Flight are my favos right now. A Life Less Ordinary is also a standout.

Better sappy Levs than anyone else, but as I said, this is a "weak" song on a really strong album. I don't skip it like I skip "Burn". I love noise and fiddles, with a healthy heaping of distortion, in my music, thank you very much. When I'm retired and got one foot in the grave I'll buy me a copy of "Levellers Love Songs" and crank it up in the old folks home. Wink

Amusing post, but I don't get the word 'weak'? I mean, i'd consider Eyes Wide a weak song, in fact, i'd consider it one of the worst songs the Levellers have ever recorded, in fact, i'd say its utter crap, but of course, thats just my opinion  Grin
